In February 2009, Dan and Teri Wolff were featured in an Omaha World Herald article that focused on their organic greenhouse business. Their bank manager, Troy Bayne, thought so much of the article and their efforts that he had a special plaque made of the article and presented it to the Wolffs.
The Millenium Tree

The historic Sidney Fine Arts Center will be the new location for Sidney’s traditional lighting of the Christmas tree Friday at 5:30 p.m.
As the arts center prepares to kick off the Christmas season with hot cocoa and some holiday cheer, they will also have a special gift in store for the annual holiday event.

In fact, these beautiful gardens are why owners of Ricky and Lucy’s Greenhouse are receiving a nomination for a Nebraska tourism award. Greenhouse owners, Teri and Dan Wolff are contenders for the Nebraska Travel and Tourism Award for Outstanding Nature Tourism Entity.
Travel & Tourism Nomination
Ricky and Lucy’s Country Greenhouse was recently nominated for the Nebraska Travel and Tourism Award for Outstanding Nature Tourism Entity by the Cheyenne County Visitor Center. Ricky and Lucy’s Country Greenhouse began as a small, private greenhouse located seven miles northeast of Sidney, NE.
Whole Foods Market Evaluation
Ricky and Lucy’s Country Greenhouse recently had their organically grown herbs and spices evaluated by Whole Foods Market. The herbs were assessed across three different categories; appearance, taste, and price. The herb blends received high marks from Whole Foods Market in each of the three categories.
Ricky & Lucy’s Join GROW Nebraska

Ricky and Lucy’s Country Greenhouse of Sidney recently joined the GROW Nebraska marketing and training program. GROW Nebraska is a marketing and training program for entrepreneurial businesses creating Nebraska products and has been in existence since 1998.
Grand Opening

Teri and Dan Wolff opened “Ricky and Lucy’s Country Greenhouse” this spring. This unique greenhouse is located northeast of Sidney. The greenhouse is actually a renovated barn that was built in the late 1800’s. Everything is organically grown (no chemicals), hand planted and cared for individually.
