
Ricky and Lucy’s Baby Balm was developed last year when a friend called me in a panic because her newborn had come down with a bad case of diaper rash and the babies poor bottom was nearly bleeding. I quickly did some research to find the best skin healing herbs and began the process of cooking the herbs and preparing the balm. The process took a couple of days.
Once complete, I contacted my friend and told her it was ready. Imagine my surprise when she called me the following day and said the rash had cleared up.
I was so excited I decided to try it on my feet and hands. Working in a greenhouse environment and not always wearing the proper shoes and gloves leaves my hands and feet dried and cracked. It worked and now many other people are using it for the same thing.

My herb blends start in the greenhouse where our plants are nurtured by Dan, our employees and I. When the seedlings are large enough we transplant them to their new home in the herb or vegetable gardens. With a little water and Mother Nature’s help we watch them grow and when they are at their optimum flavor we hand harvest, transport to our commercial kitchen, wash and dehydrate with care.
