(Cimicifuga racemosa) Used for centuries by Native Americans and has been known to help with "woman's problems". It is a native of the United States growing in shady and rocky woods from Canada to Florida. The root has been known to be effective as a relaxant, antispasmodic and sedative. It has also has been known to reduce hypertension and act as an anti-inflammatory and hypoglycemic.
